Beechwood Gardens, Johannesburg
I will always remember this wedding as having such a wonderful, calming energy. Maybe it was the old gardens that it was held in, or maybe the couple who were very balanced and relaxed. (I’m sure the fact that Rogan is my brother-inlaws brother also helped, as I knew many people there and it didn’t really feel like work for me.)
The gardens are something very special to see, owned and looked after by the Creig family. It was laid out in 1945 and definitely has a very old feel to it. Everything took place there, within the same general area, something I love. And in true Johburg style it was the stillest most beautiful, warm evening….the type we rarely get in Cape Town.
